Offline media has been rendered using the “media offline graphic”. Except the media is healthy and alive in the PPro project + doesn’t go “Offline” when rendering out to WMV from PPro. Just lost 2 hours of productivity on this.
Had the problem happening in two different projects using different source footage, one project stored locally and the other on external drive.

Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening in Media Encoder CC 2014?

I’ve already tried the online chat support. They were doing the ABC of “support for dummies” which was terminated with a:
    “The chat session has ended.
    Thank you for contacting Adobe”
When I cut to the chase and asked for the name of the product manager – hand on heart, I was not rude to them. And gave them all the info they needed about codecs etc. Just want to push the issue that this is a bug!

What are your system specs? Do you have CS6 and/or CC installed (along with CC 2014)?

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled CC 2014? Or used the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool:

    Hey Ryan,

Thank you for the quick response.

I’ve got a new HP ZBook Pro with Intel i7 4th generation processor, 750GB 7200RPM internal drive, 16GB memory, additional 32GB of SSD Virtual Memory. Only ever been used with CC 2014 – NO legacy installs, apart from those programs that have not had new version releases by Adobe.

Because the renders works straight from PPro I am not going to mess around with re-installing any of the software before the project is finished. Although it would surprise me if the solution requires a re-install?
