  • Force Frame number from Premiere cs6 on AME cs6 Image Sequence Encoder

Rendering out a massive project from Premiere to AME — via an image sequence.

Error crash overnight (why I render sequences instead of Movies–OK no big deal)

Requeue project starting on frame where it crashed — f10070. Set Sequence IN to pick up here.
Reset Destination to match previous export name and file directory.

    Render to AME.

Check my files…..nothing….It’s rendering and cranking out frames…..nothing appearing at 10071, 10072 etc…

Notice my file count in the folder is staying the same?!

AME is writing frame 10070- as 00000. OVERWRITING MY FIRST FRAMES!!

I have to create another folder, set that as destination, render out my patch and then reNAME the files?!

How do you get AME to respect/force the frame number from the Premiere Sequence in/out?

AfterEffects can number respectively, no such check box/option in premiere– WTF is going on?
    You can’t render a frame-accurate-named patch in a sequence in Premiere/AME?

Either I’m missing something or this is one of the biggest, most obvious flaws I have ever interacted with in a video program.
