New computer – slow encoding!
I got a new computer Saturday and had hoped to see a difference in encoding time, but thus far it appears to be about the same. Specs are: Windows 8.1 (64), 32GB RAM, i7 4770 @ 3.5Ghz, GeForce GTX760 (not CUDA supported), and Adobe CC 2014. I’ve got a 4 minute video that I shot in 29.97fps 1080p and am exporting to same. Only effects are Warp Stabilizer and a couple Lumetri Looks effects. All have been rendered. AME 2014 took approximately 45 minutes to export. I checked the memory settings, and 27GB of the 32GB is usable by Premiere, AME, etc, and has been optimized for performance. However, render time in Premiere seems to be significantly faster than before. Do I have some settings wrong that are slowing down export speed?

Edit – I’ve got both my OS and Adobe CC 2014 installed on SSD.
Also, does not having CUDA support for my video card account for the slower export? My previous card was a GTX265, which was supported, vs. my current GTX760 which does not.

Found the solution. Since my video card was not supported for CUDA, you can actually go into the supported_cuda_cards.txt file and add the name of your card. Once I made changes to the Premiere and AME txt files, it was exporting basically in real time. Major difference! Plus now I don’t have to render all my warp stabilizer or lumetri shots. I’m definitely feeling relieved!
