  Transcoded wav audio file MUCH shorter than video file.

  I have about 10 hours of SD 720X480 29.97fps footage from different sources (DVCam, MiniDV, VHS etc) that I need to fit on a single Blu Ray disc.

  Everything plays fine in the Premiere Pro timeline but when I transcode the footage to mpeg2 Blu Ray in AME (CS6 updated) I end up with a complete video file but only a 17 minute (4gb) wav audio file. My output settings are standard mpeg2 Blu Ray (Match Source) with both video and audio checked.

  When I import as timeline in Encore I have 10 hours of video and only 17 minutes of audio. Where is my audio going? I’m under a deadline for this project and I need to figure out this problem ASAP.

  WAV files are limited to 4GB. Use a different audio format.

  Thanks for the tip. I switched to dolby and got a compatible ac3 file.
