    Hi there,

we are right now in a transition from fcp to premiere pro. Now we have a new 12 core irone machine with windows and we are pretty with that mega fast machine! One thing we would like to do is encoding with the media encoder on our fast machine for our final cut workstations (due to output on tape and the client needs the fcp project).

I know it’s not possible to encode prores on a windows pc, neither does xdcam hd 422 in a quicktime file. We tried dvcpro hd but the encoding took to much time.

Is there another codec i could use for our final cut pros (except h.264) or maybe a workaround?
