  Dim lightning

  Hi, I’ve got three layers. The middle layer is masked and rotoed with a glow effect applied. The front layer I’ve applied a lightning effect but the lightning is dull as if the glow has muted the effect so it seems the same as the middle layer. Any ideas what I can do to get the full brightness of the lightning effect while still having the middle layer “glowed”?

  How about using a Blend Mode such as Screen or Add on the Lightning layer?
