  • Difference in Render – Synch when played on Windows Mac

Rendered final output from AE as QuickTime – format h.264 which becomes a mov file. It saves as a whopping 8gb. When I play my rendered film in Windows Media player, all plays fine, but can’t get it to compress in Adobe Media Encoder. It either hangs on various styles I try or if it does encode, I get midway thru, a big red screen and nothing else.

When I play the mov file as a Quick Time movie instead, plays well, but the voice lip synch at the end of my film doesn’t synch, but everything synch’s perfectly when played through Windows Media. Why doesn’t it play the same way in Windows and Quick Time. Tried playing as stated on a PC and on a Mac. Same results… And why as well won’t it compress. More than enough space and memory. I have Windows 7 AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor 2.70 GHz 8gb 64 bit
