  Animate shape to bend along curved path

  Hi guys, new to AE, brand new to CC. I’m trying to make a meteorology backdrop. I’ve created the red and blue pressure graphics you see here: https://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/sage/meteorology/lesson4/images/us_wx_map3.jpg. I’ve made them horizontal and would like them to move along an arched path.

  I’m able to make the shape move along a path but only the anchor point travels, leaving horizontal but floating along. I’d like them to bend and curve along the path like a train.

  Hope I’m being clear.

  So many questions like this, and never any answers. I’m really surprised AE can’t do this out of the box. I believe what you need is a plugin by Red Giant Software called Text Anarchy, which comes bundled with a tool called “Path Distort”.
