  Still Image sizes

  Is there an image size limit on FCPX? I had a client send me 3696 × 2448 sized photos for a video I’m editing. The video will be in 1080P.

  I’d like to add some Ken Burns effects to these photos. Will photos this size slow down my project? I remember how large photos used to kill me in FCP7!!

  You’ll be totally fine.

  That’s about 4k size which FCPX can do with aplomb.
