  use range selection to “add edits”

  What is the best way to select a portion of a clip and basically cut on each side of it?

  I’ve been using the blade tool – “click and click”…but I’d love to “drag and cut” it would make more sense in my specific application.

  You want “trim to selection” or option-\ (backslash) by default
