  Spaces in Character Offset Animators

  Hi,

  I’m trying to apply a randomized character offset to a small paragraph, which fades out from left to right with a range selector.

  The thing is I want the spaces between the words to be affected by this random character offset, and I can’t find a way to do it…

  I’m assuming I should add an expression here?

  Thanks a lot, and sorry if my question is too obvious!

  You could use two different text layers – one with a bunch of random text and no spaces and the other your proper text. Then use a range selector on opacity (link the range selector between the two layers) to make one come in as the other goes out.
