  Importing avi files with alpha

  I have a client who created a series of lower thirds to use in a project I’m working on.

  I’ve tried importing them and there’s no transparency.

  I tried converting these to ProRes 444 and importing them using mpeg streamclip. I also tried the Animation codec. Still no transparency.

  Is there a way to import and use them in my project?
