  Breaking Apart Multicam Audio / Pro Tools prob

  Hey guys,

  Does anyone know of a way to break apart a poly wav file that’s in a multi-cam clip? When I (shit+command+G) it separates the audio but doesn’t actually separate the various audio files. It just leaves it as a poly wav file.

  When I export xml (then convert to aaf) my sound re-recordist has a horrible time on his end, once sent to him. When he imports to his system (pro tools HD- latest version) it scatters the tracks over dozens of timelines instead of having them nicely grouped together. Outside of some incorrect setting on his end we’re guessing it’s the multi-cam/poly wav giving him the problem.

  Any experience with this?
