Sharing NOTES Fields from Multicam Clip in Browser? Is this possible?
Help. Looking for advice here…
I’m working on a fairly simple editing job, but it’s my first one in several years and my FCPX skills are rusty. I’m also doing something I haven’t done before.
The project is a single camera interview and I am following a workflow recommendation I found online (https://blog.frame.io/2016/11/02/make-fcp-x-log-better-2/) to Log and organize the footage:
1. Place All Interview Clips (about 30 separate clips) into a Multicam Clip
2. Put said Multicam Clip in a new Event.
3. Use Browser in List View to review the Interview (as a Multicam Clip) and log and make notes in the browser using these next two steps…
4. Assign Keywords as Ratings to ranges
5. Add Notes for each Keyword Range to Log the interview. The logging is going fine, and I’m about halfway through 2.5 hours of interview footage. I want to be able to share the:
– Notes
– Keywords/Ratings
– Source In
– Source Outfor each Keyword Range with another person.
I have Producer’s Best Friend (https://intelligentassistance.com/producer-s-best-friend.html), but when I export an XML of the Multicam from the Browser, I don’t get the info. When I export an XML of the Multicam clip dropped into a Project Timeline, I get SOME of the Keyword Ranges and Notes and Markers, but not all.
Is there any simple way to export the Notes, Keywords, Source In, and Source Out for a series of Keyword Ranges created in a Multicam Clip in the Browser?
