  Missing Media when copying library to library

  For the past two years, I have been copying multiple projects from multiple Libraries into one Library I use to generate episodes of a specific show. I have had no issues. Since 2018 started and I updated FCPX to 10.4, I would copy a project into another then try to do the same with another project only the first project starts displaying missing media. When I go into the library where that specific project came from, the media is safe and sound in that Library. I have repeated this over and over and over to no avail. All the media is being stored on a Seagate 3 TB USB drive which . I copy my media into each Library and store the files there. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My computer specs below

  MAC pro(mid 2010)
  2 by 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
  6 gb 1066 MHz ddr3
  Graphics: ATI radeon HD 5770 1024
