    Hey all

Got a 3D object (a map), a camera, moving the camera around to several points to show off the object from multiple angles, want to end composition by trucking the camera out and showing the map from bird’s eye view, top down.

I can fiddle around with Orientation myself, get it looking right and perfectly squared off to the camera. But I feel that there’s a shortcut out there to save time.

Hitting Auto-Orient undoes all the other Orientation keyframes in place for the 3D object.

You could try using an expressions to link the Point of Interest of the Camera layer to the Anchor Point of the object. Making sure then that the Camera is Aut-Orienting towards the point of interest. However, you may still lose the existing animation. Better to start with Auto-Oriented setting and then adjust to taste with keyframes other than the reverse method.

    Hope this helps!

    cheers,
