Motion Tracker
Are sliceX and TrackX still good options, or is there something new out there? The Coremelt site doesn’t look like it’s been updated in some time.

Thanks Craig, I only mentioned the website because it could be in indication that they are no longer developing the product. A recent update could just be a bug fix. The promo video for trackX is three years old.
It seems reasonable to ask around a bit before buying.

SliceX and TrackX are still the defecto standards. Coremelt is extremely active around the net and FB forums. Their whole website was given a full overhaul less than a year ago. They just released a huge update for their new color grading plugin. They just released updates to make their plugs high sierra compatible, including their old old plugins from legacy days too I believe. They’re about as solid and active as a plugin company gets. I don’t think you’ll see many companies updating demo reels for plugins because the plugins need to be backward compatible with all previous instances of the effect or title, so you’re not going to see sweeping changes after they’re released. Just updates for OS or FCPX changes that might break functionality.
