  assigning audio roles and sub roles

  I watched a lynda.com training video on audio for fcpx with the goal to export xml to send to Logic or another DAW.

  When he synchronized clips he used “create multicam clip” not sure why

  I want my subrole to have the interviewee name in it.

  I created all the subroles then in the browser I assigned the subroles.
  When I synced clips there were no subroles I created. After making the synced clip I could not assign the roles either. I’m lost!
