  Can I export a project from FCPX with Timecode embedded?

  I am trying to synchronize footage using an external software called SyncNLink. There are a lot of problems with the timecode however… The crew used a tascam and two DSLR cameras that couldn’t be connected because the shoot is fast paced documentary, so they had to use RTC timecode on the tascam which drifted. Both cameras also have slightly different timecodes (which is alright because SyncNlink corrects offsets). The big worry is the drift.

  I tried to slightly retime my audio clip within FCPX to correct the drift and have it match with my video. I matched the project timecode to the source timecode, then exported this project as an audio file, but when I exported it and reimported it into FCPX there was no timecode.

  Does anyone have any other suggestions?
  I have pluraleyes but it would be a last resort.
