Okay, so I’m editing my first project on FCP 10.3.3. I created my project, and created other projects with my raw clip selections. This project consists of footage, a separate voice narration track, and a music track.

I wanted flexibility to move the clips, space out the voice track to add breaths and pauses. So I left the main storyline track empty (gray), and have copies and pasted my clips from other projects onto tracks above that gray track.

Now I’m ready to move forward. Is there a way I can now take advantage of the connected clip feature and move my clips to the main story line? How would I do this?

    Thanks.

Select the clips you want to move in Primary, and choose command-option-down arrow
