Make a zoom-in judder?
I have a reasonably paced (but smooth) zoom-in on a subject and I’d like to make it appear as a juddering zoom-in, if I’m sort of adequately describing what I have in mind. Is there an effect that I can apply to the second or so that the zoom takes? Many thanks in advance for any ideas.

If you mean stutter then you could use the strobe effect from motion published to FCP X. Or download my freebie called smooth strobe.

MacBreak Studio did something called “Spooky Jump Cuts” using the retiming option “Jump Cut to Markers”. Something like this might work for a zoom:
