FCPX Always needs to Re-render
Hi there. I searched for a thread about this but didn’t see any (strange).
Whenever I close FCPX with a fully rendered project then open it back up, everything needs to be rendered again. Is anyone else having this problem? Its not a quick render either.
I’m on an iMac 5k running macOS Sierra and FCPX 10.2.3. I’ve optimized all my media that needs it. Mostly just using the Color effect.

I get it quite a lot. It’s s bug that’s always been there. Usually it’s 3rd party plugins that come unrendered not the entire timeline. And it doesn’t always happen. So if it’s always happening with every project and every render, then I’d delete prefs.

It doesn’t always happen, just often. I’ll have to check which plugins I’m using but for much of it I think I’m just using stock effects. If it’s a known bug then I feel better about it.

Well, it’s known to me. Whether the cache is just getting unruly or one just needs to delete their prefs more, it’s still a bug imho. I see people post about it here from time to time. Could be some sort of drive permissions issue too. Who knows.

I think it’s a bug too. Happens to me all the time with third party plugins.
