  Share only outputs the text overlay.

  I am attempting to output to a DVD-Video.

  Sequence (project) plays fine on the Timeline.

  When I “Share” to “Master File” – the dialogue box tells me it will be 36 GB,
  it takes 20 minutes or so to do it’s stuff.

  I get 2.26 GB for a 1hour 39 minute project.

  It is so strange that there is no audio and no video.
  Only the overlay of Time and Date I added.

  I am so confused!

  OSX 10.10.5
  FCPX 10.2.3

  FCP X 10.2.1 – user since FCP 1.25
  iMac mid 2011, MBA mid 2012

  HVX-200, Shure wireless mic

  Did you create a compound clip for the time and date? Sounds like you exported that from the browser.

  What Bret says, or the less likely scenario is that you have only the titles role set to export in the export window.
