  Misplaced clips after rendering

  Hello

  I have this issue, that sometimes after rendering the timeline, parts of the image or the sound is totally misplaced. Does anyone else have the same experience and know what to do about it?

  In the render? Or do the items on the timeline shift? I haven’t seen either of those things happen in years.

  Try trashing your render files, if that doesn’t work try trashing your preferences. (hold down cmd-opt when starting FCP X)

  Are you talking about FCP 7 and h264 media? Sure sounds like it.
