  Sudden FCPC and LeCie Drive Issuer

  I’ve been using FCPX off my MacBook Pro with a LeCie drive thus far with no problems. Then, suddenly, yesterday, FCPX began having serious problems during the import operation: it no longer shows folders, but only individual clips, which now take a very long time to even appear in the import window (loading each clip almost one at a time for reviewing). During this loading procedure the interface is unstable; so even if you find a specific clip to import, it takes a while to make it happen (obviously because it is still loading the previews). The LeCie drive works as normal for everything else; it behaves as any other drive if you enter directly or with any other program. I even use a 3d modeling program off it as usual with no interface problems. Can you help?

  Can you attach a screenshot of what the drive says when you select it in the Finder and hit Command-I.
