Thanks for being the guinea pig! I’m still running driver 10.4.3 on OS 10.10.5 as it’s been the most stable for me, and it still works with FCPX, Premiere, AE, and Resolve.

Are you on El Cap, by any chance?

Yep el cap. With an AJA t-tap for now until they get this thing fixed. AjA controls are just … Ugh. Haven’t updated their software in years. But it works.

Hi Bret, do you have both drivers on your system?

Well I do now. But previously I had only BMD drivers. You think I should uninstall AJA to try 10.6.4? It crashes just the same as it did without AJA drivers installed. Really no reason they should conflict.

well, I´m not sure. But in the reign of PCI-Cards this was a no-go (obviously)

Why would that be “obviously?” I’ve actually never heard that. You can certainly have multiple GPU cards without their drivers interfering with each other. And FCP X supports a pulldown menu to choose the device you wish to use for output in it’s playback settings.

Well I´ve heard it a lot, as well as this guy, who checked it in a test:
