Effect: Playing a 25fps clip back with less fps
Hi,
One of the FX, that I did not fin an equivalent for in X:
I want to get a more choppy Staccato feeling for certain shots,
meaning I want a 25fps clip in a 25fps TL to play only 10 fps of it’s content.How can I achieve this in X?

Kind of. Not exactly.
Also: It uses a newer version of FCPX.
On the system I am working on right now, I have FCPX 10.0.9.Sascha

The effect is called strobe. It’s in motion and you can publish it as an FCPX effect.

Yeah get thee to the current version… No reason not to when you can easily do a dual boot partition to current OS.

will work fine in older versions of X, as it’s just the Motion effect published…

Actually, there is.
We are in a huge project for quiet a while now.
I work on a HacMac, that needs first a system upgrade from 10.8.
Something I’d rather not do on a HacMac during a project.
Like the English say, never change a winning team. …. specially not during a game.
And on that OS, 10.0.9 is the max.Sascha
