  PANASONIC AVCHD artifacts in FCPX

  Hi Guys

  Shooting with PANASONIC AC160 in 720 50P – 25Mbit AVCHD – Pulling into FCPX 10.1.4 you get arifacts no matter what. And its similar artifacts as you would get on a DV tape when you get SEVERE dropout !!!! I initially thought it was the drive. But its at the same place in the footage no Matter what – You pull it into FCP7 – Nothing – You view the footage before you import from the archive in the actual bin format – Nothing !! What gives — This is really frustrating !

  Have you tried using FCP X 10.2.2? 10.1.4 is rather old at this point. Perhaps you’re encountering a bug that’s already been fixed?
