  What are some really great techniques to use on After Affects for news based animations?

  Can you be a more specific? What do you mean with “news based animations”, animations like those in the news, which makes me think of lower thirds..

  Anyway, the technique depends on what you want to achieve. So there isn’t a one fix technique that will look great on everything. I used to think Motion blur was awesome and that it made all the difference. Now I hardly use it!..

  By “news-based animation” do you mean lower thirds, side bar graphics, scrolling tickers, headline story graphics, station idents, or something else entirely?
