  FCP 10.2.2 won’t load event

  I completed a project last week and today I thought I should archive it. When I open FCP it shows me that one clip is missing. It is coloured red in the timeline. Strangely enough this clip is located in the same folder as the rest of the clips. I reconnect it and as I am deleting some unused media from the project the timeline goes blank.

  I use undo until there are no more undos left but it won’t come back. I have two older backups so I open them but they are not showing anything in the timeline either.

  I’ve googled for tips all afternoon and tried the most I could find but no change I’m affraid. I have no TimeMachine backups.

  Any ideas what I could do?

  I had a similar problem, but after running DiskWarrior it cleared up. DW fixes the directory so whenever something can’t be found it’s my first resort.
