Has anyone run into this? We’ve got a mic running through an Onyx mixer into our computer. I go to the “Record Voice Over” window, set everything up and hit record. When I play it back it sounds like I’m on helium. Sounds like a case of mismatching frame rates, but I’m recording the VO straight to my timeline.

    Anyone know what’s going on?

Sounds like the mixer is in internal sync and set to 44.1kHz, when played back FCPX goes back to 48kHz, then the voice will play at higher pitch i.e. helium voice.

    Check you settings.

    I’ll check that. Thanks!
