  change opacity in real time

  hi there, is there a way that I can make keyframes of a clip in real time by changing the opacity while playing the video? If not in fcp than what app does do it?

  Motion does this with a red keyframe recorder button in the middle of the screen. You can go back and delete or adjust keyframes, which auto-generate wherever you move a slider control during playback.
