I am new to FCPx so I may be over looking something simple. I have footage that I want to use the keyer on. I applied a mask to get rid of the garbage, and then added the keyer, and wanted to add some of the light wrap effect. The key looks great, but the light wrap is not being applied. When I remove/disable the mask, the light wrap effect appears.

I tried to reorder the mask and the keyer effect, and also to create a compound clip of the mask and then apply the keyer, but in both cases I ended up with a line where the mask edge is.

A feathered mask will do that. Use the draw mask or use cropping.

Thanks. I had a feeling I was overlooking something simple.
