  Final cut pro x lost my project file

  I switched computers with an external hard drive to do coloring on a different screen and everything is still there except for the project last worked on. I went to the finder and cannot find it there either?

  I suspect you probably just didn’t copy it over completely when you switched computers. Generally speaking you never need to mess with projects at the Finder level anyway. Just move it over with the library.
