  Is it possible to replace editable text in the same motion template?

  Hi,
  I use often custom made Apple Motion templates with editable text, like in lower thirds. For a series I’m working on, I need to create a single Motion template with editable text, say 2 minutes long, where I could – in FCPX – change text in some points over time. The problem is that I need to control number and time of texts in FCPX, so I cannot just create “x” predefined text tracks in Motion. Is there any chance to create a single, editable text track in Motion that I can change inside FCPX at an arbitrary time, like if I could keyframe it?

  That sounds a bit outside of the scope of a single title but you can definitely experiment in Motion with different ways of accomplishing the task.

  Why not just blzde the title and change the text?
