  Add background colour to shape mask

  Hi,

  I shot a video clip using a teleprompter, of a subject against a solid colour wall. The fabric from the teleprompter is slightly visible along the top edge of the clip ranging from a small black patch in the upper corner to a grey shadow along the entire top edge. I can cover the affected area with a shape mask.
  Can anyone suggest a way that I can fill the shape mask with the solid wall background colour. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  The mask should have a color selection pallette somewhere in the inspector pane. Use the eyedropper tool to sample the green closes to the edge of the mask, then apply that to the mask.

  Another way to cheat this is to export a still from x into photoshop or GIMP, and trace the mask there and give it the right color to match, then bring it in as a layer above the track in x.

  …or place the corrected still below the primary – no need to trim! ;^)
