  • Can I select multiple clips and open their triangles at once?

Sometimes I’m looking at multiple clips in an events and I want to open all of them to look at all their metadata. Do I need to go clip by clip, clicking on the triangle, or is there is a password to open multiple triangles at once?

You can open all of them at once – sorry, can’t remember the keyboard shortcut off the top of my head – or you can open individual but as far as I’m aware, you can’t just open the disclosure triangles of multiple selected clips. I think FCPX just inherits it’s disclosure triangle behaviour from the rest of OS X.

Highlight the clips and press the right arrow.
