August 15, 2011 at 4:35 pmi think that almost 50% of my job is simple character animation. but i allso get to make openers for low budget tv shows. in the studio i am the 3D after juy so i need a good shatter and particle effects. i do key quit alot , and i spent alot of the year indexing old after projects and saveing the good ones for future use. so you see i make alot of differnt jobs.

August 16, 2011 at 1:09 pmOther than CC Pixel Poly and Shatter that already come with AE, there aren’t really any other good shattering plugins that I know about.
Trapcode’s Suite of plugins includes Particular which is extremely useful and I wouldn’t think about trying to work in AE without it. I use it on almost every one of my projects. Sometimes it’s more subtle than others.
