  Does FCPX Support .M2T format?

  Hi, Like to know if FCPX supports AVCHD .M2T (not .M2TS) video natively? If not, could anyone please explain the best workaround for importing and/or transcoding? Thanks in advance for all your help. Ray

  FCP X 10.2 has new AVCHD support, and specs specifically call out M2T is one of the formats supported.

  Thanks Tim…. That’s awesome to hear! Although, I did look up the new update in which I didn’t see support for .M2T, but then again at times, Apple doesn’t always list everything:

  I do see that it now supports Sony’s XAVC format, assuming they now support the much needed XAVC-L (Long GOP). It has supported XAVC-S, but not XAVC-L. This would be great news for us Sony XDCAM PXW-X70 and similar camcorders. Thanks again for your input, Ray
