I have a background process that appears to be corrupt. It’s trying to analyze a PSD file. I moved the file to the trash even, and the process is still there at 0% complete. I’ve quit and relaunched the app and it’s still there. The problem is as long as it’s doing this, it won’t process any other PSD files that I need to add to the project. Is there some way I can terminate this corrupt process?

Did you empty the trash? If so, and these are just things I might do.. no idea if they’ll work… Delete all the render files, if hat doesn’t do it, quit FCP, right click the library and show the package contents. (if you haven’t done this… be very careful in there.. you have backups right?) Open the folder with the name of the event the file is in, then open the “analysis files” folder. maybe whatever it was working on is still there? If you see it (sort by time) trash it. Also maybe first try rebooting the computer?
