  • Can a disrupted “Copy event to library” be fixed?

Posted by James Culbertson on June 3, 2014 at 7:39 pm

I was in the middle of copying an event (“Copy event to library”) from my internal drive to an external drive for backup and remote work when the power went out. The system was shut down properly by the APC, but now I have a partial event on the backup drive with offline indicators on about half the clips.

Is there a way to fix this situation or do I need to start from scratch?

    Thanks, James

Is the media managed in the orig library or external?

If this clips didn’t copy over, you need to copy the clips over.

Media is in the original library. It does not let me copy the clips over again since they are offline in the copied event. I’m thinking that if I deleted the offline clips I could copy the event again and it would copy the missing clips.

I ended up deleting the library and starting fresh.
