  FCPX going slowly!

  Generally don’t have problems with FCPX projects but I have a pre-10.1 project with 1500 clips that is getting very tedious to work with. I’ve trashed waveforms and thumbnails and it’s still horribly slow. What’s the best way to migrate the entire event (or library) to a new post 10.1 Library?

  Last time I tried this I ended up with a corrupt library that I couldn’t repair!

  The only way is to let fcpx do it.

  Hide everything else you don’t need and convert only those events/projects you do need.

  Make new Projects in 10.1 and copy/paste converted Projects in to these new Projects.
