  BMD analog audio = fcpx weirdness

  Lately when using FCPX with my BMD extreme 3, (not 3D) and switch the system from digital out to analog out from the BMD card FCPX will freeze video output and start playing the audio track twice. It sounds like an echo or 1 second delay. Then I have to stop and it will be ok for a min then back to audio delays and freezing video output. Then if I change back to using the digital out of the Mac Pro Tower then things are fine. Only issue is the audio and video are 2 frames or so out of sync. OSX 10.9.2 FCPX 10.1.1
  Did not used to do this. Tried installing a flashed 7970 graphics card and that is when it started. Pulled the card and still having this issue. Hmmm.

  Do you have the latest BMD drivers?

  Hi Nick – No I am running 9.9.3 as I had issues with version 10 like many other users.

  Interesting. I have seen issues with previous versions that were cleared up by version 10. I have been running 10 for a while with no issues. I guess YMMV.
