    Hi Forums,

I’ve been trying to make time lapse videos using the workflow that Steve Martin and Mark Spencer explain on MacBreak Studio.

I seem to be getting everything right up until putting everything into the timeline and getting it to render. Where the orange render line should be I get a red bar and only one or two frames flash up during playback and the rest is all black.

The files are all JPEG at 4000×3000 from a GoPro Hero3. Final Cut Pro X is up to date running on a mid ’08 iMac.

I’ve never seen the red bar where the orange render line is and a search on google shows that a lot of people have different views on what they are. I’ve tried deleting the render files and getting it to render again but the red bars stay.

    Thanks in advance.
