    Hello,

I seem to be having really annoying color problem when I try to upload videos to youtube. It reduces the exposure and changes colors whenever I upload something on youtube.I tried to upload different codecs such as H264 or even Apple ProRes. In the end always, the same result.

I’ve read many forums that many people have the same problem offering different solutions such as exporting with H264 and then trying to upload etc. None seem to be working for me. I export with FCPX youtube and it supposedly exports it with the right codec but the moment it gets on to youtube it messes it up.

    And ideas and solution advice?

    Thank you.

If you export a ProRes Movie from FCPX, and reimport it to FCPX, does it look the same?

I think youtube transcodes whatever you upload, so you are at the mercy of whatever process is going on for youtube uploads.
