  Apple FCP X/Motion Keyer Light Wrap issue

  There’s a really elementary mistake in Apple’s FCP X keyer which it’s worth knowing about.

  Setting the light wrap amount to anything much above 5.0 shows that they haven’t taken care of cropping the blur properly which means you gets a very pronounced shrinkage around the edges of the image.

  It’s pretty startling that no-one picked this up in the development of the keyer which is otherwise fairly impressive, though not without its limitations.

  Needless to say, the same issue afflicts the keyer in Motion 5 as well.
