    Hello Moo Cowers

I am having a brain freeze and need some help

we get a truckload of material that has come from 23.98 -> 25 from clients

every second if has a hold frame from a software conversion (nearest neighbour) and i am having a nightmare trying to reverse the process so we can use it.

Perfect world would be to go back to 23.98 (keeping the duration) and then we can run it via the teranex for a correct way.

So can anyone help me try and take out these hold frames on the 2:2 footage ? as we currently send back to clients to fix themselves.

    Cheers

I would imagine you are. Euro pulldown is a hard one to automatically remove.

I think that would be the only way to do it, and the best quality way to do it.

Other than that, I would run it through the Terranex to see if you can at least get to 50i. Sometimes adding more artifacts covers up other artifacts. 😉

Perhaps you can use the Teranex to get back to 23.98? And then do another conversion from there?

It might take some trial and error, but it’d be worth a shot.
