I’ve noticed FCP X 10.1 creating some files called .fcpsbundle – or something like that – I’m not near the edit machine at the movement. Has anyone any idea what they are and can I move/delete them?

    Cheers.

Never do a move og delete here… this is now where FCPX stores it’s events and projects…

FCPX now uses libraries and they are stored as name.fcpbundle

Also, check out my app X-wiper for cleaning up event/projects and in the new version 1.6 libraries.

here you can delete renders/proxies/transcoded media and optical flow files in one go, on all libraries or just one…

The new version 1.6 will be online, first week of 2014 at the latest…

Interesting they pointed out you could never roll the audio edit before. But you could. To select the audio edit on both sides at once you pressed shift+/ (or was it the other slash) I think. From there you could trim it with < > or shift < >. But it’s nice that you can select it with therein tool and drag it now. How long until we can actually have a dynamic trim like competing apps had in 1996? And FCP had in 2003? /rant
