Importing SWF Into After Effects, missing nested animation
Hi, Just wondering if anyone else here has had a similar problem with importing swf files created in Flash into AFTER EFFECTS: In my flash file I have a main scene (main timeline) that contains a nested animation as well.I generated the swf then imported it into after effects. in AE the only part of my swf file that plays is the animation in the FLASH main timeline but the nested animation isn’t playing or appears to be missing. Doesn’t after effects recognized a nested animation in a SWF file?. Just wondering if there’s something I’m doing wrong while importing into after effects. Any suggestions?

Nope. Nested animations aren’t recognized. There are several different ways to work around this.
