How do you backup your fcpx .sparsebundels?
I also organize my fcpx work and projects with .sparsebundles, stockfootage.sparsbundel, projectA.sparsbundle privat.sparsbundle.
For the moment I have scripts thats mounts, the client.sparsebundle and the server.sparsebundle.
Then I do incremental backup of then content.How do you backup yours sparsebundles?

I use Carbon Copy Cloner to perform a scheduled backup each night all my sparse disk images. It can apparently “see” inside a sparse bundle and just copies the changes.
This isn’t an incremental backup per say, but a great backup solution none the less.
Also the The Backups for Final Cut Pro on the Mac App Store is an excellent solution.

Hence I use both Backup for FCP as well as Carbon Copy Cloner. Backup for FCP can grow pretty large and therefore I have to limit it to about 100 backups, so I have it only backup my Event and Project files. I use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy everything.
I really want to use Time Machine for it would truly be the best solution, but I can’t seem to find a drive big enough that is reasonable in cost to deal with all the data.

BTW as a bit of an aside, but related, I just saw this from Alex4d about some items hidden in iMovie 2013, which is pretty clearly “Final Cut Pro express”. It mentions “snapshots” which might just be a built in incremental backup.

I’m also hoping that since the article mentions Libraries for FCP 10.1,it will also follow Aperture’s “Vaults” for databases and managed media to be backed up to another location:

It’s always the question what you want to backup and why.
So if all source media, events and projects are on a Sparse Bundle you can use CCC. As a Sparse Bundle is just a folder the blocks inside are handled incrementally. But as mentioned above they are handled as blocks.
Next thing is to backup event and project files. FCPX doesn’t do a good job on autosave versioning. So there is a need (for many people) to do it either manually or using an utility. My approach is to backup those both to the Sparse Bundle (inside a special folder inside the event or project folder which might be on a Sparse Bundle) and to an additional disk same time.Finally you need both.
Same as Alex I had some look into the resources and additionally into the SQLs. Even with my own backup tool for events and projects there is no real “security” unless you constantly reconnect event media – at least every time you change an event name. Changing an event name will finally point to a wrong “Original Media” path.
As Alex mentioned with 10.1 there is probably a new event/project organization which make things said here kind of obsolete.

As this is just a guess I still believe Sparse Bundles will be a good thing – same as they had been before X.
